EMD24 – Use evidence to develop technical practice in rope rescue for teaching purposes (Level 6, Credit 15, Version 1)
Purpose:
This standard is intended for people hold the National Certificate in Specialist Rescue (Rope Instructor) or Rescue 3 International Instructor: Rope certification or equivalent who would like the opportunity to apply knowledge gained through independent research to their technical and teaching practice in rope rescue.
People credited with this standard are able to: interpret relevant legislation, technical standards, guidelines and manufacturer's specifications that apply to rope rescue; critically analyse scientific test processes used in rope rescue and analyse resulting data; and apply new knowledge gained through interpretation and critical analysis of information to own technical and teaching practice.
